Back in the 60s, as I recall, weather forecasts were 10 percent possible and 90 percent maybe.
"Red sky at night, shepherd's delight - Red in the morning, shepherd's warning," was often more accurate.
Now, I can get a very accurate forecast for at least 10 days ahead.
At the moment, this means rain and snow and very cold temperatures for the next fornight.
How do they do that?
Is it better computers (there weren't any in the 60s) - or is it the result of sophisticated geoengineering?
I'll put my money on that one.
Climate Change is already here - because it can be changed at the whim of some invisible button-pusher - which is why we see strange weather all around the planet.
Storms back to back in California, followed by drought and fires.
Cyclones and floods down in New Zealand.
Even earthquakes can be engineered!
Talk about a world of mad scientists!
How about a touch of sanity to follow? |
