Why does it make me suspicious when Trump-endorsed Joe Kent running for the Senate in (my) District 3, Lewis Ciounty, WA, reports that 2000 votes have been disallowed already - in a state that has had mail-in voting for 20 years, and a Democrat blueness that could be the envy of California?
Like many around the country, that race is "too close to call."
And that's what they're saying about Arizona today, where Republican Kari Lake is still confident that she'll beat Democrat Katie Hobbs. The small problem in that state was that at least 20% of the voting machines in Maricopa County inexplicably started malfunctioning right there, on election day!
Imagine that! And it could take days for the full vote count to be completed.
Even so, there is a sense of real confidence among Republicans that they are taking back both the House and the Senate - which has led Ocasio Cortez to opine that the Dems will have to rely on Biden's penchant for veto and Executive Orders for the next two years.
And just imagine, a House without Speaker Pelosi!
Meanmwhile, if you read the mainstream media, the "red wave" that was expected was a total failure....which means, since you heard it on the msm, that it succeeded way beyond anyone's best hopes.
