Both Black communities in the West and Palestinians have faced systematic oppression and discrimination - hence the historical and current connections between Palestinian freedom fighters and Black liberation organisations/leaders. In the current political climate, is it time to renew our unity that others have always feared?

What parallels can be drawn between colonialism, apartheid and societal segregation faced by Black people and the ongoing occupation in Palestine?

Can the death, destruction and treatment of Palestinians in Gaza, witnessed worldwide, become a template and go-to method of governments in Europe against those who desire to live with self-determination?

These questions and more will provide a framework for a deep-dive discussion and solutions!
