| | | | | “Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.” I’m quoting von Goethe here to reflect on what took place at #NNBA2023 last week; there was magic in the sold-out conference room. |
| | The excitement was palpable, and REAL action was occurring with so many nurses starting or expanding their businesses. The speakers were compelling, informative and engaging. Twenty-five different nurse owned businesses were created during NNBA’s Survivor Game, The Entrepreneur Edition. Of the 5 finalists, three groups stated their intention to start the business their group created. Domains were registered right there in the conference room! Business cards were created and printed in the hotel’s business center. There were countless collaborations, podcasts booked, and purchases of products, services, and programs. New partnerships were developed. Our wonderful nurse sponsors and exhibitors were busy signing new business and already asking about spots for next year. |
| The #NNBA2023 Conference was sold out and the last nurse to register at the door this year was the first to register for #NNBA2024! Yay Nancy! Next year’s annual educational conference on nurse entrepreneurship will be held in Orlando, Florida July 25th-27th. We are adding breakout sessions to cover even more topics so be sure to stay tuned and connected for when registration opens!

| | Here are some of the comments from nurses in the room:
This conference has given me back my joy and passion for nursing!
I have never experienced a nursing conference where the speakers and nurses throughout the room were so giving and encouraging. There are smiling nurses everywhere I look.
Who knew there were so many opportunities as a nurse for every kind of business imaginable, and so many in this room! Nurses with businesses in patient advocacy, life care planning, eldercare, legal nurse consulting, aesthetics, foot and nail care, CEU provider instructors, independent case management. I met coaches and explored many different programs. Mind blowing and grateful to see it all!
This was my first conference, and it won’t be my last.
This is a mother-daughter trip we take every year to come to the NNBA Nurse Entrepreneurship Conference. In the years we have been coming, we have both started businesses and are seeing them grow. The knowledge we gain and the connections we make each year are priceless.
The upcoming September 1st newsletter will be loaded with information! We will announce the Photo Contest Winners from #NNBA2023 and we will announce the call for speakers for #NNBA2024. We chose our speakers from our incredible, richly resourced NNBA membership. You can see how wonderful the speakers are for yourself by making sure you are there for #NNBA2024!
