| | Dear Nurses,
The NNBA 2021 Annual Educational Conference took place this past weekend, and before it came to a close, nurses were motivated and taking action towards their goals! The atmosphere is always so positively charged that you can feel the enthusiasm rolling in, even virtually! Nurses from all levels of academic progression, professional and diverse backgrounds, passions, and pursuits came together for an outstanding conference weekend. Nurses that were brand new to the NNBA conference experience, and nurses that have joined us each year over the past decade, were representing every state in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and New Zealand.
Nurses loved Stella Nsong's, RN, CCO, CMC, LTCP keynote address, The Success Equation: Beat Fear, Build Confidence, Grow Your Business commenting on how they felt empowered, inspired and motivated. The Demystifying Software Design & Development tutorial had nurses understanding and feeling more confident with software, working with programmers and gave access to resources. Nurses benefit from seeing concrete business models that work, and our business expert panel discussion, New World Business Issues In a Post Covid World received excellent evaluations and comments. Dr. Renee Thompson, Donna Cardillo, Dr. Louise Jakubik, Stella Nsong and I presented how the pandemic affected our businesses, what actions we took, and the takeaways from our experiences. Below, in the member’s success strategies section, are just several of the hundreds of comments throughout the weekend’s presentations.
It is an exciting time to be a nurse! While the pandemic challenges us, there are major changes to the healthcare marketplace. We are inspired and motivated to participate in the creation of our future, reframing our future, and seeing the services, products, and programs that are needed, and we, as nurses can provide. Serving nurses for 36 years, and on the forefront of the nurse entrepreneur movement, the NNBA is able to offer the best conference available for nurse entrepreneurs. This is possible by the depth and wealth of resources within our membership. Our membership includes thousands of nurse-owned businesses, multiple awards, and millions of dollars of revenue. The experience, knowledge, and impact of our nurse entrepreneur community is amazing, so be sure save the dates, July 21-23, 2022 to join us live, and in-person for #NNBA2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada!
The NNBA is filled with superb, high-value educators that are successful nurse entrepreneurs.
