I think it is interesting to see where nurses are coming from to attend our conference each year. Typically, it follows the pattern of highest nursing population across the country. The top 10 states represented at the NNBA 2022 Entrepreneurship Conference were California, Texas, Nevada, Ohio, Arizona, Florida, Oregon, New Jersey, Washington, and New York. Outside the U.S., the top country represented was Canada. Just this past week I was on a Zoom call with four nurses from Brazil. Innovation and entrepreneurship are very much on their minds, and they may be the top country outside the U.S. attending NNBA’s 2023 conference.

| The COVID-19 pandemic brought telemedicine technology and services to a mainstream audience – like it or not.
As it turned out, studies have shown that a great many patients and providers like the flexibility that telemedicine affords.
Liz Fobare is vice president of product management at Tebra, a vendor of cloud-based clinical and practice management software for independent healthcare practices and billing companies. She contends that telehealth is far more than a pandemic trend.
