Frequently asked questions on the NNBA Conference are addressed in this letter. This is a must read for those nurses attending, and a great overview for those we hope will join us!

Registration Times?
 
All registration will take place at the front of the NAPA Ballroom on the Second Floor Convention Center.

Registration Times:

Wednesday, July 20th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm
Thursday, July 21st from 7:00am to 1:00pm
Thursday, July 21st from 4:00pm to 7:00pm
Friday, July 22nd from 7:00am to 9:00am
Saturday, July 23rd from 7:00am to 8:30am

Only people that have signed in at the registration table are permitted in conference rooms. Badges must be visible to enter the conference rooms.

Dress?
 
Dress is Business Casual. You’ll be listening and taking notes and we want you to be comfortable but remember that you will be networking and taking pictures with incredible nurses. We suggest layers because the AC may be chilly to some and not cold enough for others. Also be sure to wear comfortable shoes because there is always a lot of walking.

Info on Covid?

Receiving CEs?
 
Instructions for receiving CEs are being placed in your conference bag. Make sure that you have signed in legibly for the conference and any preconference’s that you are attending.

Start times Thursday, Friday, & Saturday?

Preconference workshops begin Thursday at 8:00am and 1:00pm. You can choose one of each of the two options. 
The two options at 8:00am are:
“It’s a Goldmine: 12 Revenue Streams to Diversify Your Income and Grow Your Business!” with Louise Jakubik in NAPA C, and “How to Run Profitable Retreats with Donna Cardillo” in NAPA D.
 
The two options at 1:00pm are:
“Eldercare & Staffing Money Making Systems: A Business Model for Building a Caring Enterprise” with Stella Nsong in NAPA D and “Marketing You! From Pitch to Profit” with Michelle Podlesni in NAPA C.
 
The Meet & Greet Reception is included for registered conference attendees only. The reception is from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and in NAPA A.

The Main Conference begins at 8:30am on both Friday and Saturday. Registration opens at 7:00am, please be registered beforehand, and when entering and leaving the conference room, handle doors softly so not to interrupt the speaker and listening attendees. No one without a badge will be permitted in the conference rooms.

Finish Time on Saturday?

Conference content will be completed by 4:30PM.

Airport Transportation?

Free hotel shuttle to and from the Las Vegas airport - If attendees plan to use the airport shuttle, please call and make your own reservations; lists are not accepted. Reservations for the shuttle transportation can be made by calling toll-free at: 1-866-791-7626 or local 702-797-8901.  Airport shuttle reservations are required to be made at least 24 hours prior to needing shuttle service. Remember that Friday and Saturday your Networking Luncheons are included in your Conference Registration!  Coffee, tea, and water stations will be available in the mornings. You are on your own for breakfast and dinner.

Reminders and Tips:
  1. Make sure to leave a little extra room in your luggage. You will be receiving a conference bag with a conference program, a few conference give-a-ways.
  2. Dress in layers. Conference rooms are known to be cold so we want to make sure you are comfortable.
  3. Bring your camera (phone) so you can take plenty of pictures and share them. Share with hashtag #NNBA2022 and on Facebook - The National Nurses in Business Association
  4. Recording audio or video of the stage, speakers and any parts of presentations is not permitted. The conference content is protected, copyrighted material.
