The NGLA Annual Conference staff want to let you in on a secret gem of the weekend- the Silent Auction! The 2nd Annual Silent Auction is not only a way to win fabulous prizes, but it is also a way to raise money for future scholarships to students attending NGLA in 2016. Last year, the Silent Auction raised over $2,500!
This year, we are encouraging the campus delegations to support the silent auction by donating an item or basket.
Helpful guidelines for giving:- Include items that apply to a large number of attendees, including the hot trends of the season
- Remember that both collegians and alumnae will be bidding, so try to include items with varying price ranges
- Attendees will be traveling from all over, so try not to limit goods to one specific
- Pinterest has a lot of great ideas for basket themes and ideas
Not able to attend or not sure you’ll have room to transport a donation? No problem! Pre-conference donations can be mailed to Rebecca Jamrozik Mickler by Friday, February 20, 2015: Duquesne University Attn. Rebecca Mickler #315 Union 600 Forbes Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15282
If you have any questions please contact Silent Auction Chair Rebecca at jamrozikr@duq.edu or 412-396-6651 (Office) / 330-518-4353 (cell). Thank you in advance for your participation. |

| Each month NGLA likes to pay tribute to one of our many stellar volunteers. This month, we recognize Cat Sohor, as our Volunteer of the Month. Cat has been volunteering with NGLA for the past ten years. Her current position is Awards Coordinator where she acts as a liaison to the Annual Conference Team to solicit NGLA awards nominations, create criteria for judging awards and lead the team of volunteers who select each years' award recipients. This year, Cat has spent a great deal of time streamlining our awards submission and selection processes, allowing her and her team to work smarter, not harder. In her profes-sional life, Cat is the Director of Fraternal Development for Delta Chi Fraternity where she creates curriculum for the undergraduate members of the organization. Please join us we congratulate Cat on her dedication and achievements in volunteering with NGLA.
Do you know of any candidates worthy of holding the title of NGLA Volunteer of the Month? Send your submissions to Kevin Pons, Coordinator of Volunteers, at volunteer@ngla.org.
