NGLA’s First-Ever Philanthropy Project
We’re committed to “Helping Put the Northeast Back Together.”  In the aftermath of the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, we can think of no better way to help our northeast communities than to help those still rebuilding their homes and lives.

Working with disaster relief organizations, we have learned there is a need for gift cards from businesses such as Home Depot, Lowe's, and Sears. We are asking everyone to help us make an impact by donating one or more gift cards to help Hurricane Sandy victims in denominations of $25 or less.

We will be collecting these during registration at NGLA.  For each gift card you donate, you will receive an entry for a prize of appreciation.  Please share this with your brothers and sisters and let’s see how much we can raise!

Kim Novak-- Let’s REALLY Talk Values!
February 22, 9-10:15 am, Convention Center Ballroom B & C
"Focus on your values” is often a suggested solution for reducing risk and for improving chapter operations, however for students leading chapters and councils this task can be more difficult than it seems. Join Kim for a high-energy real conversation about what "focusing on values" means.
Rick Barnes-- Living the Dream of Our Founders
February 23, 9-10:00 am, Convention Center Ballroom B & C
Fraternities and sororities have existed on American college campuses for more than two centuries, shaping the experiences of millions of men and women. Today, there is fiery debate between advocates of the fraternity/sorority experience and those who feel it’s become more harmful than beneficial. When we live up to the dreams of our founding fathers & mothers, our communities are one of the best leadership and values-building experiences available to a young man or woman today. But, that takes a deliberate commitment to build relevant fraternities and sororities that work together, add to the campus and fulfill their stated missions.

Who Will Win Awards?
Congratulations to the more than 30 campuses who applied for awards this year! NGLA is proud of your vision, accomplishments, and the positive impact you have made on your campus and in your communities. Make sure to come to the awards celebration on Saturday night to find out who won!
