Call for Volunteers!
NGLA builds community among professionals and students from a variety of fraternal experiences, challenges members to align their actions with fraternal values, and empowers advocates to transform and improve their communities. Please help us achieve this mission by serving the Association as a volunteer.

If you are a new or returning volunteer, we ask that you complete the Call for Volunteers Application.

Submit an Article

We’re always accepting articles for our monthly newsletter. Submissions can be made by anyone in the community, and we welcome the opportunity to feature different ideas and material each month. Articles and detailed content submissions can be made utilizing the Regular Article/Content Submission Form.

We want to hear from you!

Did your campus just win an awesome award? Is your community engaged in an amazing philanthropy or community service initiative? Have some news that you just need to share with the NGLA community? We want to know! If you think your campus, chapter, National Organization or community deserves full bragging rights, complete our Brag Board submission form so we can share your news!

Volunteer of the Month – Kara Miller
Kara Miller has served as a volunteer for NGLA for a number of years. She is always ready and willing to roll up her sleeves and work tirelessly until the job is completed. Over the course of the last couple years, Kara has been instrumental in planning a top-notch leadership conference for the association; which is a full-time job in and of itself. We honestly do not know how she does it as perfectly as she does. Kara always has a smile on her face and is happy to help in any situation, and she leads a large volunteer team with patience, empathy, and optimism.

When she is not leading fraternity and sorority affairs at Cornell, she is splitting her time between leading AFA and NGLA, being a dog-mom to her beloved Cooper and even working on her Ph.D. She is a role-model to so many of us in this field and we cannot think of a more deserving person for this accolade.

Kara is brilliant, charismatic, and caring. She has such a great eye for detail and an innate ability to make everyone feel appreciated and welcomed. When we think of the reasons why NGLA is such a great organization a few key individuals stand out in our minds. Kara is at the top of that list. We would not be the association we are today without this amazing woman and friend.
