Farewell to the Outgoing Conference Chair

The Northeast Greek Leadership Association offers great appreciation for outgoing Conference Chair Cory Bosco. Cory has dedicated nine years of volunteer service to NGLA through various roles on the Conference Committee.

Cory shares, “My involvement with NGLA has been one of the most impactful experiences of my career and personal life. When I was a new professional, I volunteered with NGLA as a means to connect with my peers. I found an extremely welcoming and dedicated group of volunteers that I can't imagine not having. I dedicated almost a decade to volunteering with NGLA. The people I have interacted with throughout my years with NGLA made the experience enjoyable and fulfilling. NGLA has something special that is hard to define but entirely worth the involvement and has truly made me a better person because of it. Even though my term as Conference Chair is over, I will forever hold NGLA in my heart and plan on returning for future conferences. The work I contributed leaves a lasting impression on the Association and the conference. I know the conference is moving forward in great hands. The next Conference Leadership Team is full of all-star volunteers who will continue to grow and change the conference so that it will keep meeting the needs and expectations of its attendees and supporters. We entered a new NGLA era while I was on the Conference Leadership Team, with the addition of a paid Executive Director and the development of a new vision for our volunteer team.  I cannot wait to see what future conferences have for our volunteers and attendees!”

Tom says, “We are profoundly grateful for the invaluable years of volunteer service generously given by Cory Bosco. His contributions, especially during his tenure on the Conference Leadership team and as the Conference Chair for the 2024 NGLA Annual Conference in Hartford, have been truly commendable. Cory has consistently provided guidance and inspiration to the NGLA volunteer team, embodying a steadfast commitment to delivering an impactful conference aligned with NGLA's core values. His unwavering dedication to NGLA has left an indelible mark, and for this, we extend our deepest appreciation. As Cory embarks on new endeavors, we wish him success and eagerly anticipate the continued growth of the Association, nurtured by the seeds he has sown."

NGLA is grateful for Cory’s service to advance the Association.
