Greek Housing Summer Preparation Checklist
With fewer or no residents during summer break, the risk of chapter house claims rises significantly. Taking the time to prepare your chapter house for summer break will help to avoid the common risks that affect chapter facilities over the summer including fire, vandalism, theft, water damage, wind, and hail.

NGLA is always accepting articles for our monthly newsletter. Submissions can be made by anyone in the community, and we welcome the opportunity to feature different ideas and material each month. Articles and detailed content submissions can be made utilizing the Article Submission Form.

Volunteer of the Month
Our May Volunteer of the Month is Katie Owsianiecki Hartmann. Katie is the Volunteer Coordinator and works year-around to ensure that volunteers have an excellent experience with NGLA. Last month, Katie prepared a thank you gift and message for our volunteers for supporting a successful 2018 conference as well as a message to all volunteer supervisors. She is working now to recruit volunteers for the next appointment cycle. Recently, Katie was appointed as Theta Phi Alpha’s new Executive Director. Congratulations, Katie!
