One of the most important things you can do to ensure the success of the NGLA Annual Conference is to visit the exhibiting sponsors who are on site.
These organizations support the conference, and those dollars help keep the costs low for attendees like you! It's critical that you take time during the conference to visit their tables, thank their representatives for their support, and see if their service could be useful to any of the individuals or organizations back on your campus. Some offer conference discounts and cool giveaways at their exhibit booths. Some even offer internships or jobs to attendees they meet at the conference!
To help you engage with our conference sponsors, we're launching a few new programs in NGLA Village this year!
- Sponsor Selfies: Show us your best selfie! Take a selfie with a sponsor and tag them and #ngla2019 in your Facebook or Instagram or post. Each day, we will select the top 5 selfies and the winners receive a $25 Amazon gift card. From the daily winners, we will select the most epic sponsor selfie and the winner will be presented with a $100 Amazon gift card at the Awards Banquet.
- NGLA Village Passport: As you visit with our sponsors and learn about their offerings, you can collect stamps on your paper passport (provided at Registration). Once your passport receives at least 12 stamps, you can drop it in a box located at Registration for a chance to win one of the following prizes: Bose Soundlink Revolve, $200 Amazon gift card, Apple Airpods, or a $100 Unique Impressions Gift Certificate. Winners will be announced at the Awards Banquet.
- Dessert In NGLA Village: After lunch on Friday, dessert will be served throughout NGLA Village so that all conference participants have additional time to meet sponsors. Enjoy your dessert over great conversation with our sponsors about how their offerings can help your chapter or campus.
Advisors
– please take the time to discuss the importance of visiting exhibitors with your student delegations as you prepare to travel to Hartford.
