| Registration Scholarships
NGLA raises money annually through a silent auction to support several student registration scholarships to attend the NGLA Annual Conference each year. Applicants are evaluated on their involvement with the fraternity/sorority and greater campus community, their goals in attending the conference, and their plans to apply what they learn. Discovering NGLA Delegation Scholarship
If your delegation is coming to NGLA after not having attending the NGLA Annual Conference for the last three years or perhaps coming to NGLA for the first time, NGLA wants to acknowledge and celebrate your return or first time attendance. NGLA is offering a scholarship that will cover the registration cost for 4 individuals and the campus professional. If you have already registered, your registration cost will be refunded if your campus is selected. If you are interested in applying, please submit a letter on University letterhead that details the following:
- What made you decide to come to the NGLA annual conference?
- What are the learning goals for your delegation?
- How will receiving the scholarship help you achieve those goals?
- How will students implement what they learn at the conference?
- What are your plans to work toward ensuring funding for future attendance at the conference?
As a condition of the scholarship, you would commit to writing a blog post that would be included on the NGLA blog and highlighted in the newsletter. Please submit the letter of interest by January 5 to exec@ngla.org. |
