“NGLA has given me the skills and opportunities to change my chapter and community far beyond what I ever thought was possible. From learning how to open and facilitate conversations about masculinity, to having the knowledge of Step and Strolling that I can use to support our multicultural organizations, this experience has taught me so much. I was able to meet members from other chapters and alumni from my chapter and the greater fraternity that has offered my life a new direction. I had been debating the possibility of a career in student affairs and NGLA was the deciding factor for me. I know, now, that I'm meant to continue in Fraternity and Sorority life outside of my undergraduate experience. I intend to use the skills and knowledge of creating and managing safer social events, the functionality of MIT's independent Judicial Committee, and the connections created with the NIC to help build a stronger connection and better safety practices between and amongst chapters and their governing bodies within my community.”

“I was so impressed with how much our students learned during the keynotes and breakout sessions. We saw our leaders come together and build meaningful relationships with members of their executive boards and across councils. Since returning to campus they have really hit the ground running with ideas and initiatives. Upon leaving NGLA, members expressed how much they thoroughly enjoyed their experience and how it is imperative that we send more students next year. Thank you again to the NGLA Conference Team and Board of Directors for an INCREDIBLE conference.”
