Under the Influence . . . of Stress
presented by Corey Ciocchetti

Stress is omnipresent, but it need not dominate your life. Being a Greek leader / an effective student / and productively plugged into your community without breaking down, taking short-cuts, or compromising your values requires proper tools. This presentation provides help via a stress test to identify your stress baseline and then valuable stress-reduction tips to move you from stress-wreck to less stressed & strong. This strength is critical as you move through your life. The idea is not to get rid of all of your stress (impossible) but to mimic successful people who minimize minor stressors so they can focus on their major stress causers.
Why Language Matters in Matters of Inclusion
presented by Tara Fuller

When people think about fraternities and sororities they tend to imagine an environment that centers heterosexual relationships. The reality is though, this assumption does not apply to all of our members. Through personal stories and engaging conversations, this program presents a framework for combating heteronormativity and embracing inclusion in your chapters and community. This program is intended to help participants understand why it is important to affirm all identities of members, especially as a way to enhance the bonds of fellowship.
Hazing Makes You A Better Greek, and other stupid myths!
presented by Michelle Guobadia

You shouldn’t need 10 reasons not to haze, but Michelle is going to give them to you anyway! When you walk out of her keynote, your perspective on what it means to belong to a fraternity and sorority community will be changed forever! Michelle speaks from experience, not only as a sorority woman who has been hazed, but also as someone who actively took part in these harmful traditions, believing this behavior was an important part of her fraternity/sorority experience.
Mental, Spiritual and Body Wellness: Not Your Basic Self-Care Workshop
presented by Brittany Piper

Brittany Piper hadn't even made it through her first semester of college before ending up in a hospital with alcohol poisoning. She knows the damage that college life can inflict on student wellness, as she battled with mental health issues, pill and alcohol dependence, and eating disorders. Now a decade later, she's a wellness and healing coach. Brittany will guide you through a combination of exercises rooted in mental health and body awareness, and spiritual coaching and yoga. In this space, you will be provided with a supplemental self-care workbook, which can be used afterwards as you begin to develop your own self-care routine.
