January Volunteer of the Month – Rebecca Mickler
Please join us in recognizing Rebecca Mickler as the NGLA January Volunteer of the Month. Rebecca currently serves as the chair for the newly formed Higher Education Partnerships Team. Rebecca has spent much of the fall 2016 semester brainstorming and formulating initiatives for this committee and has sprung into action in effort to formulate stronger partnerships with campuses and organizations in the northeast.

Specifically, Rebecca has worked with AFA, NIC, NPC, and Phired Up to obtain campus membership lists in an effort to help leverage relationships with unrepresented institutions in the northeast and fraternity/sorority headquarters.  She is working on compiling a master list of campuses in the northeast with fraternity/sorority life. Rebecca plans to do outreach to campuses that have not been attending NGLA to learn more about how we as an association can help. This is a huge undertaking. Rebecca is the Director of Greek Life, Honor Societies and Professional Organizations at Duquesne University, mom to a brand new baby boy Michael, and is a well-loved and highly regarded advisor to her students.
