Message from the Interim Executive Director
It has only been a few weeks since the 2021 NGLA Virtual Conference ended. For the first time, NGLA had the opportunity to offer our programming to our students wherever they happened to be in the world. While that format did not allow for us to gather, as we like too, and I’m sure, all miss, we reached new communities and new campuses, and welcomed new friends into our NGLA family.
I know many of you hosted virtual meet-ups during the conference, connected in our discussion forums, interacted with our sponsors, and most importantly, learned valuable information from our presenters and facilitators. We hope you had some time to reflect on your experiences and are finding innovative ways to bring these ideas to your community.
One year into the COVID-19 pandemic, each of us faces continuous personal and organizational challenges. It is a hard time to rise up and be the leaders our fraternal communities need. We are glad that you are the leaders who have chosen to engage and address these challenges and hope that the NGLA conference has given you the tools necessary to make this work easier to accomplish.
We hope you made connections, learned new things, and invigorated your passion for fraternity and sorority. We hope to gather next year in Baltimore. Until then, stay well.

Congratulations, 2021 NGLA Awards Recipients!
Each year, the Northeast Greek Leadership Association (NGLA) recognizes fraternity and sorority chapters, councils, communities, and individuals for their outstanding accomplishments over the past year. Through innovative initiatives and commitment to the fraternal movement, everyone recognized has helped advance the mission of NGLA.
This year's awards submissions were outstanding, despite the COVID-19 complications. Applications highlighted efforts on how institutions got creative in navigating virtual recruitments, programs, workshops, and training during a pandemic. Thank you for submitting strong applications and showcasing your leadership!

Thank You, Silent Auction Donors and Participants!
Our donors offered items ranging from apparel to educational programming. Together, we raised over $1,974! All proceeds go toward the NGLA Fund to support educational initiatives and programs of the Association and further fund our scholarship and Innovation Grant programs.

Volunteer of the Month: Avery Moses
Avery Moses served as the Registration Chair for NGLA and rose to the occasion in successfully inputting and updating a record number of registrants for the conference this year! The workload for the Registration Team is always heavy in the weeks and days leading up to the conference, but with delayed starts to the semester on many campuses and a number of institutions sending larger delegations, Avery had an even more significant workload than previous years. We cannot thank her enough for all her efforts to make the registration process as smooth and simple for our campus partners as possible. Avery is a valued member of the Conference Committee and continues to be a team player whose contributions to NGLA extend well beyond the registration experience.
