Message from the Executive Director
A great deal has changed in just a month since the NGLA Annual Conference in Baltimore. First and foremost, NGLA would like to send our best wishes to all conference attendees and their communities throughout the Northeast. We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and good spirits.
COVID-19 has presented countries around the world with an unprecedented set of challenges and leaders are being called on to navigate these uncertainties. We hope that you also see an opportunity to lead your organizations and communities even if that leadership is happening virtually.
Each of us has a role to play in keeping our friends, families, and communities healthy and safe in the coming weeks. While you are home, consider revisiting the Our Path Home Worksheet to think about applying what you learned at NGLA in an entirely new context. Your chapter or council could use your leadership now more than ever. Please model the way by staying home!
There are many great virtual meetups being hosted by our peers. We encourage you to take advantage of those opportunities and share the resources with your brothers and sisters.
We hope you had a transformational experience with us in Baltimore and continue on your journey to grow and learn. See you next year in Hartford from February 25 – 28, 2021!

Post Conference Activity
It’s not too late to complete Our Path Home. Our Path Home is a series of self-guided activities to help campus delegations transfer what they learned during the conference into practice back on campus. Activities can be used à la carte in any order, but will work best as a whole in the order presented.
Now, all your delegates need is the Our Path Home Worksheet and a writing utensil to get started!

Apply for Board of Directors by March 31
NGLA is seeking dynamic strategic thinkers and innovators to join our dynamic Board of Directors.
Each member of the board plays an integral role in furthering the mission of NGLA. Our continued success depends upon the personal commitment and dedication of a select group of individuals that understand the privileges and obligations of leadership. Qualified applicants are those with association and/or organizational leadership experience who are committed to the fraternal movement.
Know someone that would be a good fit? We encourage you to share this communication with anyone who could be a great addition to the NGLA Board of Directors.
Applications are due by March 31. Please direct questions to exec@ngla.org.

Volunteer of the Month: Elana Levy
Elana has been volunteering with NGLA for many years even though she has not been living or working in the region since 2014. She served on Student Staff in 2016 while in Ohio, co-chair of the Local Greek Leadership Conference in 2017 while in Illinois, and served on the Education Programs Committee in 2019 and 2020 all while living in Michigan. While at this year's conference, Elana stepped up to fill the vacant co-chair role on the Education Programs Committee to ensure all aspects of Annual Conference were fully supported. The conference would not have been so successful without her!
