Opening Thursday Keynote
You Scared or What? Being Fearless While Greek presented by Darryl Bellamy Jr.
|
| With a collection of over 10,000+, Darryl has amassed the most extensive collection of written fears from students, many from Greek leaders, around the country. When he first started collecting the fears of students, he was taken aback by the vulnerability, self-awareness, and rawness of students’ written fears. He reads and analyzes every card collected to help students get out of their head, and push through their comfort zone to make daring moves for their organizations and their own lives. Through the Fearless Formula, fraternity and sorority life members will leave feeling energized and inspired to create a lasting legacy, challenge the status-quo on their campuses, and lead through fear. They will also leave with a special gift used by thousands of students to push through fear daily, long after leaving NGLA.
The Opening Thursday Keynote is sponsored by CrowdChange.

Friday Morning Keynote
Just Another Assault presented by Bonny Shade
|
| It took Bonny 3,136 days to realize she is a sexual assault survivor. During those 7 years, she began to ask BIG questions: Why did this happen? Does it happen a lot? What will my friends think? What is consent? What about alcohol? How do we prevent this? The list went on and on; and YOU may be asking yourself the same things or have a friend, family member, brother or sister pondering these questions. In this impactful program, Bonny dives into answering all these questions through thought-provoking and funny stories, data, and real life experiences. 1-in-4 college students will be survivors of sexual assault. This is a human issue. It’s time to end sexual assault- and we need your help to make that happen!

Closing Saturday Keynote
Leading Imperfectly: The Value of Being Authentic for Fraternity and Sorority Leaders presented by James Robilotta
|
| Oh boy, another speech on leadership. Instead of waiting for the same cliché leadership lessons, it's time to be different. Let’s talk about who you are personally as a leader. As humans, we can’t learn things from people who are perfect, we can only learn things from people who are imperfect. So, it is time to own who you are so you can be real to others and lead through your faults. This deep but hysterical keynote will leave you feeling introspective about the person you show to others. We need to talk about you before we can talk about us, so let’s discuss where you struggle and succeed to make you a more efficient and effective authentic leader for your council and chapter.
