Do the Legwork Now, So You Won't Have to Pound the Pavement Later

There will be many other cold, hard truths that college seniors will be confronted with after graduation...and a college degree doesn’t guarantee a job upon graduation is one of them.

While on-campus recruiting is still common at a number of universities (and definitely something worth asking about prior to committing), more of the legwork in finding that first job is going to be on your child.

Luckily, the steps they take now, can help decrease the number of steps  they'll have to take in that job-search journey later.

Here's what we suggest.

Interest-Free Loans...Say, What?

There is a hidden resource for college student loans that many people do not know about—it’s called an interest-free student loan.

How does one find such an animal, you might ask?

Since they do sound too good to be true, it goes without saying that these loans are not always a slam-dunk.

There are restrictions. Many are limited to residents of certain geographic regions, which is why it helps to start your search close to home. Others, though, are open to pretty much anyone (provided you are a U.S. citizen).

You know those pillows that moms love to give their kids in college that say "Call Your Mother" on them?

Well, we're not going to be so obvious, BUT, we are going to ask you to
reach out and touch us in another way.

can you give us your feedback with this really quick survey (really, it's very quick).

Getting your comments helps us know where to put our efforts to make things better for you and your students.

Thanks!
