“The College List Drives Everything”

We know that, and those of you who have been with us in the “Build the Perfect College List” group know that as well.

The good news is that we are doing another “Build the Perfect College List” Challenge starting January 26 thru January 30, 2020 at 8:30PM EST.

In this 5-day challenge, we’ve partnered with Russ Vitale (of Destination College Success), to teach you how to create an awesome list in just 5 days.

He will walk you through the steps to build college lists he uses with his private, one-on-one clients and you’ll learn valuable resources to use for researching schools in the future.

Here is what we’ll be focusing on each day:

Day 1: Financial Fit Factors - Figure out how much you can afford to pay for college, how much the government and colleges think you can afford and what colleges cost these days.

Day 2: Academic Fit Factors - Help your student zone in on some potential majors and explore what the best academic environment is for them.

Day 3: All Other Fit Factors - What other factors impact what type of school your student will thrive at? Distance, meal options, size, clubs, activities, internships, alumni network, and more.

Day 4: College Data - Numbers don’t lie. What data should you be researching and using when comparing colleges and searching for need and merit based aid.

Day 5: Pulling It All Together - How to pull all this information together and use it in your planning as you go through the admissions and paying for college process.

Here’s just a FEW more things we’ll touch on...

Why it’s absolutely, positively, so important to visit schools – and it doesn’t mean only visiting in person. There are ways to “visit” a school online.

How to use your student’s potential college major to determine the competitiveness of college programs (hint: we’ll give you questions to help guide your student to figure out what they might be interested in majoring in.)

Our essential advice on the RIGHT number of schools your student should apply to– this number is different for every family and we’ll explain why!

The price for this NEW 5-Day Challenge, beginning on January 26 is $9.99.

The fee shouldn't be a deal breaker. Think of this as the cost of a hoagie, drink and chips. (Or substitute salad for a healthier option!)

Why is there a fee?

Because we want you to be committed to showing up, learning, and doing!

The fee won’t go to waste! You can use it as a credit towards any Road2College product or service in the future (and we've got some good deals for you coming up).

Are you in?

As veterans from the last Challenge, your spots will be held until this Sunday night (January 12) at midnight. If we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll be refreshing the group and removing members to make space for members of the 2020 Challenge.

My goal is always to provide you with affordable services, insightful information and access to actionable data to help you make more informed college decisions.
