These days (and weeks, and months) at home offer up a good opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with the basic terms and aspects of the College Admissions/Financial Aid process.

What's We're Buying on The Road...

There really isn’t much shopping being done around here, other than for the essentials, like food and, yes, we’re going to say it...toilet paper, but a parent in our Paying For College 101 Facebook group recently mentioned another item her son couldn’t do without. 

When there are multiple kids at home together (supposedly) studying, reading, and doing whatever else they’re doing, the ones who are REALLY trying to do work are becoming frustrated. 

That’s why noise-cancelling headphones might be just what they need to help them concentrate. And tune out their siblings.
