- The loan information is based on current rates for federal student loans and parent plus loans. The parent plus loan is the most expensive loan a family should take (in terms of interest rate), so this is your worst case scenario
- You can also use this spreadsheet to fool around with how much you can contribute vs. how much your student will borrow and how much you’ll borrow or cosign for your student.
