Let Me Tell You a Little Bit About Myself...

Essentially, that's what a college essay should do...tell the reader a little bit about yourself. But, keep in mind that they will be asking themselves WHY you're telling them what you're telling them, so make sure your story is compelling. Additionally, know what NOT to tell them and keep those topics on the back burner (or in the G File). What are we talking about?

Yes, We Do Have One More Article About FAFSA
Do you wanna make something of it?!?
Relax, we're lovers, not fighters. We just want to let you know that WE know, not everyone fills out the FAFSA on the first day the application drops.

For those who have yet to click "complete," here's a handy, dandy, step-by-step walkthrough that's so thorough, you'll be doing the FAFSA Happy Dance before you know it. (We made that up--we don't know whether there's an actual FAFSA Happy Dance, but if you have a video of yourself doing one, we'd love to see it.)

Discover Colleges That Will Be Generous To
Your Student
In Minutes...

The Early Decision deadline is just a few days away, and if your student is still on the fence about which school to apply to, keep in mind that the college admissions process is rife with information imbalance.

Colleges know everything about their admissions and financial aid formulas, but the families who are applying know very little about their student's chances of admission, and what their final college bill will be.

To level the playing field, we’ve created College Insights, a subscription-based tool covering over 2000 schools where families can look up detailed admissions information that ultimately provides clues into how colleges offer money, their admissions strategies, financial health, and more, as it pertains to YOUR student.
