Scholarship Bells Ring... Are You Listening?
Our list of scholarships that have December deadlines is out, and if your student gets cracking, those applications can be completed long before that first spoonful of stuffing hits their plate on Thanksgiving.

There are still $16K worth of scholarships available that have November deadlines, so you can add those to the list as well. Who wouldn’t like some “greens”with their T-Day dinner?
Will Work For Merit Aid
In a recent survey by College Ave Student Loans, the majority of students (61%) found college costs to be more than they expected. Surprise! So how does one fill that gap?

This is the part of the story where Merit Scholarships come onstage.

What does that mean?

The largest source of “free money” a student is likely to receive is directly from the college they attend.

That’s why students should be very strategic in researching and finding schools that can offer them the most in merit scholarships.

And since Dad always said “there’s no such thing as a free lunch,” that means getting that “free money” will take some work. But, as you’ll find from this article, it’s worth it!
