Greetings!

The Road TO College may have been a well-traveled path for your family, but College LifePaying For College and Beyond is a world in which you still reside.

This newsletter will focus on that new road. You will find us in our mailbox two times a month, and we hope you will allow us to join you on this new journey.
The dormitory phones are no longer down the hall but always within your kid’s reach.

SO, how often can you expect to hear from your student, and vice versa?

How Often Do College Students Talk to Their Parents? will provide parents with good insight from students themselves. And what they say about communication might surprise you.
Bring Your Parents To College Day? Not Really!
One of the hardest things a parent may have to absorb when their child goes to college is that it’s their child who is going...and not them.

Colleges Like Parents. They Really Do...Sort Of pulls no punches in telling parents how much they should and should not be involved in their student’s college life.

To everything there is a season. Colleges know that, and it’s important for parents to know how to nurture that relationship--with the college.
What We're Reading These Days...

Empty Nesters, Unite!

It may be difficult for some moms to remember who they were before they became “Mom,” but now that their kids are off to college and beyond, the opportunities to get reacquainted with that person are endless.

The goal of “From Mom to Me Again” is not to preach or judge, but to offer kindness, support, and real-life stories and tips from moms of a variety of backgrounds, along with sage advice from professional therapists.

There is life after the empty nest, and it can be wonderful!
