PAYING FOR COLLEGE WITH LOANS OR THROUGH THE MILITARY
“The Nation that makes a great distinction between its scholars and its warriors will have its thinking done by cowards and its fighting done by fools.” Thucydides, Greek historian

When Air Force Admissions Liaison Officer Ellie Kay visited us to do a Facebook Live where she discussed “Everything You Need to Know About Military Academies, and How That Impacts Paying For College,” she reiterated over and over how important physical fitness, leadership, AND academics were in order to gain admission to one of the five elite service academies in this country. Surprisingly, it’s not a big list, because we are huge proponents of the philosophy that the less you spend now on unnecessary “stuff,” the more $$ you have to spend on a nice gift to reward yourself for not sobbing as you leave your little gosling behind.
