Interested in No Interest?
It almost sounds too good to be true, but there is a hidden resource for college student loans that many people do not know about. It’s called an interest-free student loan. No kidding!!

No-interest student loans are typically offered by nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and private companies. And many are limited by geographic location.

BUT, it’s certainly worth checking into…wouldn’t you say? So, are you “interested” now? Read “Can I Get An Interest-Free Loan?”
Greetings, Pilgrim…Your Search Has Ended
ATTENTION FAMILIES WITH RISING JUNIORS AND SENIORS...

Years ago, there was a coffee commercial that addressed a coffee lover searching for the perfect coffee with those words. We know how much people love their coffee, but in the college admissions world, MONEY outranks coffee every time.

So, if you’re searching for “lettuce” rather than “grounds,” we’re offering a few options in finding schools that will be more generous with their money by way of Merit Scholarships. There’s the College Data Spreadsheet and the College Free Money Finder.

The Spreadsheet has a ton of data to help you filter where your student is in the top 25th percentile and then you can sort by which of those schools offers the largest merit scholarships to the most students without need.

The College Free Money Finder gives you access to a database of over 1200 college specific merit scholarships and lets you filter which ones your student is eligible for.

Now, here’s where it gets REALLY interesting…we’re offering BOTH tools and a free month to our Concierge Lite Service, which is access to the recordings of monthly college counseling sessions
in a package deal for $49.

A Few More Things…
You may be deep in dorm shopping at the moment, but if you come up for air long enough to assess what your son or daughter will really need that you may not yet have considered, we have some suggestions.

Foldable Drying Rack
Damp gym clothes and towels need to be hung up and dried before they can be reused (yes, some kids will do that). A drying rack will come in handy for that.

Ear Plugs
It may be true that college students can sleep almost anywhere, but for those times when tuning out a roommate is more than impossible, these little things will certainly come in handy.

Whats On The Road Next?
I'll be talking with Marisa Meddin about the crucial dates families need to know to make sure they are doing everything they can to prepare their student for college admissions throughout each year they’re in high school...
