My Kingdom For a Scholarship!

Actually, the original quote was “My kingdom for a horse,” but if you’re a high school senior searching for some funds for college, a horse won’t do you much good.

Now, a scholarship…perhaps even a few, could add some nice money to your tuition fund.

The newest list of Scholarships all have a February due date, and it will be somewhat of a horse race to get your applications in on time…so start galloping and hopefully we’ll see you in the winner’s box.

Instead of doing it all on their own, if you want your student to work with a professional, one on one, to learn how to efficiently and effectively search and apply for private scholarships, then consider enrolling them in Pam Andrew's Scholarship Bootcamp session.

Find out more about Pam's philosophy on accountability, which makes her bootcamp so successful.

When Your Financial Aid Packages Are Not Very Appealing…

If the financial aid packages you’ve received have left you feeling less than flush and more than unsatisfied, you may be in a good position to appeal.

We’ve got a good crop of articles that will not only help you determine whether you have a legitimate reason to fight the system, but they’ll also offer tips on how to do it, and then help you craft an appeal letter.

TOOLS and WORKSHOPS
Merit Scholarship Workshop
Sunday, January 27th at 8pm EST

Join me this Sunday to learn more about merit scholarships and our new tool which takes the frustration (and time) out of finding merit scholarships.

My goal has always been to provide tools and content to help families through the crazy process of college admissions and paying for it!!

The first tool I've focused on helps families find FREE MONEY from colleges based on a student's academic achievements, not their family's household income.

When my daughter was applying to colleges I knew there was no way our family would receive financial aid. But it took me months to pull together data from disparate sources and search college websites for details on scholarships colleges offer.

So out of my frustration I created the College Free Money Findera new tool to make searching for merit scholarships faster and easier.

By entering your student's academic profile, preferences for size and location, and other criteria such as special talents, sports, and specific majors, you get access to the largest database of over 15,000 merit scholarships, including full-ride and full-tuition scholarships.

In minutes the College Free Money Finder supplies a list of colleges and merit scholarships that took me months to put together. And it's specific to your student.
