Choosing a college major at the ripe old age of 17 seems like a big burden to put upon a teenager.

And while many college students do ultimately change their majors once they get into the meat and potatoes of college, it’s still not a bad idea to have your student at least think about what they want to be “when they grow up.”

We spoke with Doug Webber, an Associate Professor of Economics at Temple University about how one’s major impacts their lifetime earnings, and the findings were eye-opening. Read the article here.
