Scholarships Can Mean $$ For College
Summer’s here and the time is right for dancin’ in the street, and at the beach, and at the pool, and the lake…

It’s difficult enough getting your kids to apply to scholarships during the school year, but getting them to ignore the call of summer will require a little more finesse. Just tell them there’s money for college in it, and if that doesn’t work, take away their phones.

Here is our list of scholarships that have July deadlines. The sooner they apply, the sooner they can get back out to dancin’ in the streets.
To Bring or Not to Bring… That is the Question
If you want to know what to bring/shop for college move-in day, there are hundreds of places for you to turn. (In addition to everyone’s mom’s sister’s best friend.)

And after you get done tallying up the cost of all that “stuff” they recommend, you’ll want to read “What Not to Bring to a College Dorm.” It will be a lot gentler on your pocketbook.
