It's NOT Too Late, Baby
(With apologies to Carole King) If you’ve found yourself with a tuition gap that needs to be filled pronto and have decided to go down the student loan route…it’s NOT too late!

There are many lenders out there who can facilitate the process and depending upon certain criteria, can put that loan for your student through very quickly.

And speaking of the process, if you still feel the need to brush up on the hows and whys, Critical Information On How Student Loans Work will provide the answers.

Here's a list of lenders (with their rates) that we recommend:

As a reminder, students should always access their federal student loans first, before borrowing from private lenders. Interest rates on federal student loans are generally the lowest rates students can find without a cosigner.

FAFSA: Yay or Nay?
Every parent who has ever had a kid head off to college knows about the “villain” called FAFSA. And as most of us do when it comes to villains, they stay away.

Here’s a secret tip, even if you think filling out the FAFSA will be wasted time on your part, because you won’t qualify for financial aid, you should think again.

While the FAFSA certainly helps students qualify for need-based financial aid from the government and college, that’s not the only reason colleges look at it.

Should I Fill Out FAFSA Even If I Don’t Qualify For Financial Aid will clue you in to the benefits that FAFSA can provide.
