The CSS Profile asks for more details than FAFSA when it comes to an applicant's financial history, and that often frightens families.

Other than making it disappear, most people would like to have a bag of tricks when it comes to anything having to do with filling out the form.

We're not advocating doing anything untoward or illegal, but there are some tricks (we prefer calling them "strategies") that can be implemented to smooth out the process.
