I Don't Want to Brag, But...

An integral part of the college admissions process is the brag sheet, but no one really talks about it all that much...we guess they don't want to "brag."

It differs from the more well-known high school resume (yes, that's also important) in that the brag sheet serves a very specific purpose: helping recommenders write a recommendation letter. Learn more about it and why every high schooler should have one here.

The Little Ivies Have Nothing to Do With Plants

The Little Ivies (not an official title) are little--most have under 5,000 students, but they're not really Ivies.

They are a group of small liberal art schools located in the Northeastern United States that are known for their academic excellence.

If that criteria fits what your student is looking for, check here, where you'll also learn about NESCAC. (Don't ask, just read.)
What's Up Ahead On the Road...

In a Test-Optional World, Essays Rule...

We recently shared our mantra in a ZOOM call about essays that was so popular, we then followed up with a Facebook Live discussing the very same subject. Watch it here, and then consider signing up for one or all of our College Essay Helper options.

We offer help from simply brainstorming a topic to seeing your kid through to the dotted i's and crossed t's end result. The one caveat is that you have only up until MIDNIGHT TONIGHT to receive our bonus when you purchase . That's it! After that...Nada!

So watch the video, sign up, and you can then go back to enjoying what's left of this very strange summer.

Compare Rates Among Lenders

If you need to borrow money to pay for college, time is running out to gather the information you need to make a good decision.

Shop around, but do it quickly before your student's college bill is due.

If you're at all worried that applying to multiple lenders will make a big dent in your credit score, don't be.

When you apply for the same type of loan within a few weeks the credit bureaus know you are shopping for rates, so there's very little effect on your credit score.

We've done our own informal study and found that the lenders offering the lowest rates were College Ave Student Loans and Sallie Mae.

Use the links below to get prequalified and/or submit an application to find out the interest rate you'll receive.
