Hang in There!

Another Tuesday (or was it Monday, Sunday, Saturday, they are all starting to blur) and it was great to see everyone who could make our Coffee Clatch.

We really appreciate everyone showing up, sharing their concerns, and adding information they are hearing from various sources.

I'll keep repeating this because it's still true..though we don't have answers to all your questions, I hope it feels a little better to know we all have similar concerns and we're trying to do our best to help our students make hard decisions during uncertain times.

For those who couldn't make it, some of the topics we discussed were:
  • Financial aid appeals
  • Handling June 1 deadlines for decisions but May 1 deadlines for college scholarships
  • Gap years
  • Measuring the financial health of colleges
  • How much financial aid and merit scholarship money will be available in the future
  • Potential plans by colleges for fall on-campus enrollment
  • The loan process
Here are links to more information as follow up to our discussion:

How To Get Additional Guidance

A few of you asked how you can get additional guidance as you and your student make the final college choice.

If you have general questions or suggestions for topics you'd like covered at one of our Coffee Clatches, please email us at info@road2college.com.

In response to your requests (and to provide something really affordable), Russ and I put together a Decision Navigator Workshop to discuss the factors to consider when making your final decision and help you weigh the pros and cons of your options.

Russ will lead the workshop, which will be held this Sunday, April 26th at 12pm EST.

The workshop will be limited to 10 families to allow us the time to address each family’s situation. It will cover all the criteria necessary to make your decision, answer your questions and provide advice and guidance to make sure you are confident you are making the right choice.

In addition, if after the workshop you are still unsure, you can email your questions and concerns to Russ (concierge@road2college.com) and receive his feedback on your family's final decision.

We’re positive that those who participant will have more peace-of-mind and confidence they are making the right decision for both their student and family.
Scheduling a one on one consult is also still an option. Find out more information below.

See you next Tuesday!
My goal is always to provide you with affordable services, insightful information and access to actionable data to help you make more informed college decisions.

Feel free to respond to this email with any questions you have.
