That’s the sound of parents across the country hitting the ground when they discover lots of “surprise” fees that have been added on to their student’s tuition bill. A diamond ring hidden in a cupcake is a nice surprise—these fees are NOT.
Knowing exactly what tuition covers, and doesn’t, will help you better calculate what your actual bill will be. (Think books, equipment, lab fees, etc.)

Does anyone really “like” taking tests? Probably not, but some kids manage to rise above it, despite their feelings.
Others, may not.
So, what if your grades are great, but your test scores (ACT and/or SAT) are not as stellar as you’d like them to be?

A trash can filled with hundreds of wadded-up drafts of college essays that didn’t make the cut can be an ecological nightmare.
Realistically, we know your student is NOT writing their essays in longhand, but if their virtual trash can is full, they probably need some guidance. We recommend you sign up for a FREE webinar with Brad Schiller from Prompt.
We organized this FREE webinar last week and had such great response, we're doing it again! Brad will be talking about ...
- how parents can help their students get started on essays
- how Prompt's free software helps students brainstorm topics and figure out what to write about, and
- what college admissions officers are looking for when reading essays.

If you have a high school senior this webinar shares very worthwhile information for them to hear. And it's FREE!
Students in 9th--11th grade will also benefit from this webinar. (Did we say it’s FREE?) It will help your student know what they should be focusing on in the next few years.
