Loren has an interesting background he brings to tutoring. As an award-winning actor and filmmaker, Loren approaches working with his students with creativity and entertainment.

While he excelled in college, one of Loren's strengths is that he had to learn how to be an effective student. His success at Johns Hopkins represented a transformation that began in his Junior year of high school, a transformation from being a student who, while by no means failing, wasn't realizing his full academic potential, to one who understood how the academic world worked and what it took to master it. As a result of having to learn these skills consciously, Loren has both the tools to help any student be a better student and the ability to impart them.
