Apples to Apples?
Has your student received a few financial aid awards? Easy to compare them right??!!

It's well known that financial aid award offers aren't easy to understand. Purposely? Let's not comment on that right now.

Confusing? You bet ya.

To help make sure you're comparing apples to apples, we created a tool to help you separate the information included in financial aid awards. Once you enter your information, our college comparison tool will highlight the money your family is obligated to pay.

There are 3 "buckets" of money to identify: money your family does NOT have to pay back, money your student and/or you can borrow, and money your student can earn.

You Show Me Yours and I’ll Show You Mine

There's power in numbers and even more power in crowdsourcing. After you compare your financial aid awards in our college comparison tool, hit submit. You'll then receive links to college specific pages to see what other families, at the schools your student is considering, received.

Bookmark each college specific url and return as often as you like to check as more and more families share their award offers.

ps - This is a beta version, which means it may not be perfect. So feel free to give us comments we'll use as we make improvements.
