We hope you’re staying safe and healthy with all the craziness occurring across the country and the world. Social Distancing is the name of the game, but that doesn’t mean you should distance yourself from figuring out how to pay for college. Unfortunately, that concern will not go away.
Money, What Money?
As though parents didn’t have enough to worry about lately, we found they’re still wondering how much they can afford to put towards college — and where they can find the money to close the funding gap.

We recently asked a group of almost 400 parents in our Paying for College 101 Facebook group about that and found that 66.5% of them expect federal student loans to play a role in college funding.

Surprised?

Well, this is a slight uptick from 65% a few months ago when a similar survey was administered in the fall of 2019.

Can't Touch This
The virus and its upheaval has reached out and touched pretty much every college student in this nation in one way or another. The news of schools closing temporarily or permanently for the year has sent families scurrying for moving boxes AND answers.

How will the college admissions process and our students be affected by all this? Read our article here.
What’s Up Ahead On the Road...
Brenda Piazza of College Assistance Plus joined us last week for a very informative Facebook Live where she discussed Financial Aid Appeals and how to approach them.

Watch Brenda’s Facebook Live here.

We also held a more intimate workshop where Brenda shared how to structure a financial aid appeal and what specific language to use.

If you missed it, you can still purchase the recording and email us your questions.
My goal is always to provide you with affordable services, insightful information and access to actionable data to help you make more informed college decisions.
