You Hit the Lottery!
No, not the BIG ONE, but if your college kid keeps in touch on a regular basis, that’s almost as good as winning the lottery…right?
Just remember many of these kids are trying on their first threads of independence, and reaching out to family and friends may be taking a back seat. “How Often Do Students Talk to Their Parents”  can give you an idea of what other college kids do to keep in touch.

Deadlines, I Thought That Was An Eye Chart!
Keeping track of all the college application deadlines can be a mind-bending activity, and keeping EDI, EDII, EA, and all the rest straight could really send your blood pressure sky high. “Understanding the Different College Admissions Deadlines” will help calm your nerves. Now, you’ll only have to worry about your kid getting everything in on time.

FALL WORKSHOPS

This workshop will walk step by step through the online FAFSA form and  explain how your EFC is calculcated, which assets are included and identified as parent vs. student assets, should you use the IRS DRT, the pros and cons of using the new FAFSA mobile app, what documentation you need if selected for verification and more.

This recorded workshop, is by Luanne Lee, a certified College Financial Planning Specialist with over 13 years of college planning experience in the financial services industry.


Whether we like it or not, the financial aid season is upon us. So to help ease the pain, we recorded our workshop on filling out the CSS Profile. 

If your child is applying early decision, now's the time to make sure your CSS Profile form is submitted correctly. This workshop, lead by Christen O'Connor, Associate Director of Financial Aid at Dartmouth College.

During this workshop showed exactly what information to include and exclude in each section to ensure your senior submits the strongest possible applications.
