Subject: A Mother's Story...

AFRAID TO MAKE A MISTAKE THAT COULD IMPACT HER CHILD.

You want your child to be happy and successful and YOU want to have less stress and retire in the not so distant future - right?

These shouldn't be mutually exclusive goals.

But if you're a parent with a high school junior just beginning the college admissions process, you might be wondering how you'll survive the next 18 months and still have a relationship with your child at the end.

I know, because some of the worst arguments I had with my own daughter were during the tumultuous months of junior and senior year of high school while she focused on applying to college.

Last week I introduced a new service, the Road2College Concierge Service, to help families gain control of the process, reduce their fears and feel confident their students will enroll in colleges where they'll not just survive but thrive.

Before going into more details, I want you to hear from Sharon, a mother of two, and how she felt about the college admissions process...

(To hear Sharon, start the video at 58:08.)

"Three years ago, my oldest daughter was a high school sophomore and our family was thinking of college. My husband and I think we're well educated,  do our homework and research, and have good lines of communication with our child.

I started to do some homework on my own and talk to people in my school and community. Find out their thoughts and opinions, gather some advice, and listen to what they had to say.

My daughter attended a private high school, and as much as they were doing their part in the college preparedness area, I personally felt I needed more.

And, as time quickly went on, I started to have some fears, have some significant concerns that as much as my husband and I thought we were knowledgeable... I would miss something, I would not be aware of something, I would make a mistake, that would, in the end, cost my daughter a part of her future.

I did not want that to happen. No parent would."

How horrible, to feel you might make a mistake that could affect your child's future?

You can avoid these feelings and the fears of also making a big financial mistake by getting guidance from experts with years of experience and insights, but at a price you can afford.

The Road2College Concierge Service, works with parents and students to guide them through the crazy process of college admissions while also making sure to have fun along the way.

DIY vs. CONCIERGE SERVICE vs. $$$$

We're offering the Concierge Service because we know ALL families need guidance but many can't afford to work one-on-one with a private college counselor.

So to fill the void, we created a service for families stuck in the middle - "too rich for financial aid but too poor to pay for college".

It's a 16 month program with a combination of group guidance sessions and personal interaction.

Here's what's included:
  • Monthly group consultation sessions (16 in total)
  • Office hours twice a month (32 sessions)
  • Monthly Newsletter
  • Personal review of student's college list
  • College Essay Review
  • Email support (3/mo)
  • College Data Tool
  • Private Facebook Group

We think this type of service fills the void between working one-on-one with a private college counselor vs doing it all yourself on your own.

Our goal is to make sure YOU (mom & dad) feel relaxed, knowing you're doing everything you can to help your student find the best college for them at a price you can afford.

(See some FAQs at the end of the email.)

Enrollment is limited to make sure families get the attention they need.

You must join by tonight, SUNDAY (March 3rd) midnight. (The program starts March 13th.)

To give you more peace of mind, Sharon's story has a happy ending because she worked with Russ Vitale, one of the college admissions experts in the Concierge Service.

"I felt myself very fortunate and blessed that my family could work with Russ.

I now have a freshman success story in the bank! Thanks to Russ, which, we feel is the best thing we ever did, the entire process from beginning to end was pleasant, enjoyable, stress-free, dare I say happy.

My peace of mind, my no stress, my happy life, and again I keep saying ‘my’… my daughter, my family unit, we all experienced it! Russ provided my daughter with such caring and supportive guidance, such nurturing and informative support.

Every step of the process, she felt confident. There were no tears, no stress, no emotional breakdown, none of that. Dare I say her senior year was delightful!"

Make sure your family has a happy ending like Sharon's.

All the best,

Who is the Concierge Service for and not for?
If money is no object, you can afford to work one-on-one with a private counselor, you're not worried about paying for college and your student is aiming for elite schools - then this service may NOT be for you.

But for EVERYONE ELSE it's exactly what you'll need to help you and your student through the process.

What if my student needs more personal attention?
You can get it. Russ and Marisa are offering Concierge Service members a significant discount on additional, private hours a family might want to add on.

But trust us, we believe the service is designed so you won't need anything else.

Why is it 16 months?
As experts, Marisa and Russ know that getting into college is really the easy part, making sure your student transitions well and starts college prepared is something many families forget to focus on. But we don't. That's why we'll be with you and your student from now through the end of June.
