Subject: 😀 Where to find videos, courses, posts, Quora answers & more

Hi All,

I'm writing to tell you what I am doing and where I'm publishing so you can decide where it go for what you want.

With regards to this newsletter, I don't know about you, but my email box is overflowing with newsletters and ad campaigns, and I spend a lot of time unsubscribing from unsolicited threads. I want to make sure that I'm not part of that glut in your email box.

If you signed up to review my "news" or "rhythm" newsletters, nothing will change--you will still receive those weekly emails until you have finished the series. After that, you will receive occasional announcements.

Here are the places you can go for my videos, posts, guidebooks, online courses and answers to pronunciation questions.

PRONUNCIATION GUIDES

At the moment, these are only on Amazon.com and other Amazons worldwide. I will probably add other online stores like Kobo and Apple and Google Play, and libraries, but not yet. You can find them on my Amazon Author Page. If you bought one of my guides and haven't left a review yet, you would make this author/teacher very happy if you did! Here's the link: amazon.com/author/peggytharpe

I'm not being very productive, but I am revising the 'Japanese accents in English' guide. I'm going in a new direction--talking about pronunciation goals from the perspective of the listener, discussing what English speakers need to hear, and how this is different in English and Japanese, or Russian, or Arabic, and offering some new ways for my adult English learners to think about what they have to change.

The Russian accent guide disaster has been resolved. I accidentally uploaded an early draft version of the guide and it was published in paperback form. That still hurts to think about. It may never recover from the scathing 1-star review that alerted me to the whole fiasco. If you bought the Russian book but haven't left a review, I would soooo appreciate you doing so.

UDEMY: ON SALE!

I still have the first Udemy online course I made (back in the olden days when Udemy first began). I may one day get around to making the 10 other courses lined up behind the Udemy curtains. The existing course is How To Teach English Vowels: Laying the Foundation. It's on sale at the moment for $12.99. Udemy determines their sales times and sale prices and they do this around holidays, so I don't know how long it will be available at that price--probably not long. Get it while you can!

YOUTUBE AND VIMEO

I occasionally....occasionally!...make a little video and post it on YouTube and Vimeo. YouTube probably has more of them than Vimeo.

QUORA

I answer questions about English pronunciation on Quora. These are the kind of things I might I have sent to you by email in the past, but now, my thinking has changed. I want to keep the newsletter lean, but you can find my random Quora answers here: https://www.quora.com/profile/Peggy-Tharpe

TWITTER

When I answer a Quora question, it allows me to send them to Twitter, so as long as I'm on Twitter, you can find the Quora answers there. But I'm not in love with Twitter anymore, so I don't know how long I'll keep that account open. https://twitter.com/peggytharpe

FACEBOOK

I post all kinds of things related to English speech on my American Pronunciation Coach FB page, https://www.facebook.com/peggy.tharpe

MY WEBSITE

You can always check out my website, AmericanPronunciationCoach.com

LAST BUT NOT LEAST--A NICE WEBSITE TO RECOMMEND

Before I forget, I want to share a nice website with you--Pronunciation Studio at Home. It's easy to use, tidy and neat, and has lots of information that students need when they work on their English pronunciation.

So...that's what I'm doing. How about you? I hope you're doing well.

All the best,

Peggy
