NEW NORTH – Hang 10 Poké, a business idea of food-service entrepreneur Kean O’Brien, was the winner of the NEW Launch Alliance Pitch Event, held Dec. 1 at TitletownTech in Green Bay. AntiMussel and Starr Merrie Native Gifts took second and third place, respectively. The three winning entries emerged from a group of eight entrepreneurial pitches which had advanced from local pitch competitions held across Northeast Wisconsin last month.

GREEN BAY -- Big changes are happening to the medical landscape in Wisconsin. Bellin Health and Gundersen Health systems have completed an operational merger.
We’ve previously reported in June that Bellin and Gundersen were in serious talks about a merger, saying it would improve patient care. A deal was finalized, and they began combined operations on Thursday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. ApostleTech is a software development company specializing in customer relationship management implementations. The deal, which closed Thursday, added 21 employees to Wipfli’s team as well as more than 20 clients. “We’re so glad to have ApostleTech as part of Wipfli,” said Ken Kortas, head of Wipfli’s Business Solutions practice. “Their entrepreneurial bent mirrors our own as they’ve spent years perfecting their approach to design industry-specific solutions such as their homebuilder platform, HCP. Expansion and Business Development in the New North Ripon College to break ground on new on-campus stadium and science center projects WLUK RIPON -- Changes are coming to Ripon College's campus next year. The college is moving forward with a $35 million project to build a new on-campus stadium, renovate and expand Farr Hall of Science and upgrade the undergraduate residence halls. The first phase of the project includes $24.5 million investment in the science center and an $8.5 million investment in the campus stadium, both of which are projected to break ground in spring 2023. Planning for upgrades to the residence halls has commenced and the college hopes to finalize plans within the next year...
