AI is the simulation of human intelligence in machines programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions.
Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is one of six sites hosting a virtual AI Bootcamps Initiative designed by the Mark Cuban Foundation. An entrepreneur and startup investor, Cuban also owns the Dallas Mavericks NBA team.

As the pandemic took hold last spring and forced schools statewide to close, families in rural and less densely populated areas faced added hardship.
Not long after schools closed, Thiel, who serves as executive director of the Waupaca County Economic Development Corp., received a call for help from Clintonville Public School District Superintendent David Dyb.
