Business Development & Expansion Miron wins $28.1M bid for engineering hall at UW-Platteville The Daily Reporter State officials this week inked a $28.1 million contract with Miron Construction, of Neenah, to build a new academic building at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
The job calls for building UW-Platteville’s new Sesquicentennial Hall, which would join the school’s Engineering Hall to make a 200,000-square-foot academic complex bringing Platteville’s engineering, computer science and renewable energy programs together in the same space.
Miron Construction beat out six rivals for the project in bidding that closed on August 25. The state Department of Administration recently inked a contract with the company for the project. Read More 1>
Business Development & Expansion Mount Pleasant officials pleased with Foxconn progress Racine Journal Times A lot of promises were made in 2017 when Foxconn selected Mount Pleasant as the high tech hub of its proposed “Wisconn Valley” North American manufacturing operations.
To date, Foxconn has invested about $750 million across Wisconsin, inclusive of capital expenditures, salaries, and other expenses since operations began.
