Innovation in the New North Appleton company takes top spot at Startup Wisconsin Pitch at Summerfest Tech Wisconsin Inno Andrew Schmitz was a top winner of New North’s Regional Pitch Competition last year, at the 2019 New North Summit. Schmitz's company, Proceed.app, an Appleton-based company that created a visual knowledge-sharing application took the top cash prize at Startup Wisconsin Pitch at Summerfest Tech Wednesday, a $20,000 competition that was one of the highlights of the one-day virtual innovation conference.

Encourage Educational Attainment UW-Green Bay sees increase in enrollment FOX 11 News The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay reports an increase in enrollment among its four campuses to begin the 2020-21 academic year.
While the UW Green Bay campus looks emptier than usual, with majority of student's classes being online, the university says 243 more students enrolled in the fall 2020 semester than enrolled in fall 2019, which is an increase of 3.3 percent.
