Expansion and Business Development in the New North Bank First gets regulatory approval for merger with Denmark Bancshares set to take effect Aug. 12 MANITOWOC HERALD TIMES REPORTER MANITOWOC - Manitowoc-based Bank First Corporation announced Thursday it has received approval from required regulatory agencies to merge Denmark Bancshares, Inc., parent company of Denmark State Bank, into Bank First Corporation, parent company of Bank First. Shareholders from both banks approved the merger during special shareholder meetings June 13. “Receiving the necessary approvals from both the regulatory agencies and our shareholders brings us another step closer to uniting two relationship-based banks,” said Mike Molepske, president and chief executive officer of Bank First, in a news release.... Expansion and Business Development in the New North New apartments approved by Sturgeon Bay will bring hundreds of housing units to the city GREEN BAY PRESS GAZETTE STURGEON BAY - The City Council approved two new housing developments that are expected to bring about 300 more apartment units to the city within the next two years. The council signed off on agreements in its June 19 meeting with Duquaine Development of Green Bay for a 68-unit complex that could expand to 120 units in the future and with PRE/3 of Brookfield for a 96-unit development. Both will be located near the Target store on the city's south side, the Duquaine project north of the store and the PRE/3 project east of it, between the store and Duluth Avenue. The Duquaine project actually is in the town of Nasewaupee, but the city has an annexation agreement with the town that takes effect when the apartments are completed....
Economic Development Feature International Market Access Grant awarded to two Sheboygan County businesses WHBL Two Sheboygan County Businesses have been awarded shares of a $110,000 International Market Access Grant, made available through the Wisconsin Initiative for Agricultural Exports, which was proposed by Governor Tony Evers in his most recent biennial budget. Zimbal Minkery of Sheboygan Falls was granted $10,000 to create a new website and translate marketing materials for use in Europe and Asia.

The 48th annual Oneida Pow Wow returns this weekend, Friday-Sunday, after a two-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The fireworks display will be shown Saturday night.
“Everybody’s missing the pow wow,” said Tonya Webster, chairwoman of the Oneida Nation Pow Wow Advisory Council. “Our last one was in July of 2019.”

"We go through an emotional roller coaster in the film as our older teenage daughter has disappeared," writer Dave Payton said. "In the beginning of the movie, we had this perfect life."
