One of President Joe Biden's top cabinet officials came to Green Bay this week to tout how funds from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law are helping to boost Wisconsin’s economy.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg joined and U.S. Sen Tammy Baldwin, Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich, Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach and other local leaders in holding a press conference Wednesday.
At the center of the discussion was a $10.1 million grant awarded to the Port of Green Bay in October. The grant will help transform a decommissioned power plant at the mouth of the bay into a new state-of-the-art port facility. Its estimated total economic impact is more than $87 million in the first five years...

Expansion and Business Development in the New North Meat Block completes expansion of Haen Meat Packing in Kaukauna INSIGHT ON BUSINESS Haen Meat Packing Inc., Kaukauna, reopened after a seven-month expansion project that added 7,000 square feet to the existing 2,000-square foot market.
The Meat Block, Greenville, acquired Haen Meats in 2021 and committed to increasing the facilities meat processing capabilities, retail space and product lines.

Promoting the Regional Brand New murals hope to capture the best of Oshkosh NBC 26 NEWS OSHKOSH - Two new murals are going up on the walls of Oshkosh establishments in an effort to make the city an even nicer place to live, work and visit. Early returns suggest the strategy is working, as the murals are already drawing praise from passersby, even though they aren't quite finished yet.
