New North Region Stepping Up to the COVID-19 Challenge ThedaCare surpasses 50K COVID-19 vaccines administered WLUK NEENAH -- ThedaCare has reached a milestone in the COVID-19 vaccination process. The Fox Valley health system has surpassed 50,000 vaccines administered. Between Dec. 24, 2020 and Sunday, 51,034 vaccines have been administered, according to a news release.

The restaurant industry has been one of the hardest hit during the pandemic, with many having to take extreme measures to stay afloat. “We had to lay off team members, and that was just a real tough decision because we know how much it impacted them, their families, their loved ones, their lives,” said Ryan Batley.
Batley is the general manager of Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel in Neenah, which includes a Ground Round restaurant.

Thursday night, the Epic Event Center in Ashwaubenon opened for its first concert at the former Gordmans store at 2351 Holmgren Way. Three acts took the stage, headlined by the rock band Otherwise.
The new entertainment venue has a capacity to host up to 2,100 people but is starting with a capacity of about 400.
